We made a new uploader page in order to help with some common problems that your uploads are having. There is some information on the page with tips. The latest Flash version is absolutely necessary for your upload to work. Please let us know if you are experiencing problems. It will only help us stay on top of this.
In an effort to make it easier for our producers to manage content, we re-designed your Account Manager by moving the buttons up to the top when your logged in to your account. These buttons are now consistent with all manage pages.
Skateboard.TV's syndicated player will be ready for testing this week. This is the player that we are offering to our premium Brands and Pros for their websites. Your site will be able to play your own channels with complete control over playlist organization. BobBurnquist.com's new site launching next month will implement the first working player.
So we decided to remove the player from the homepage and implement a stage. The player took time to load and I cant imagine the videos we select for the home page will please everyone....so instead we'll tell you whats going on in the site and you can decide which video you look at first.
This is the new Skateboard.TV HD player waiting for its new home on the Production Site.
This player will allow users to keep browsing videos while a clip is playing in the popped out player. We just need to add the related video thumbs to the player as a video finishes. Working nicely now.
We are debating over the release of Skateboard.TV with or without an HD player.
Upside...Better image and potentially better streaming conditions
Downside...You have to download a player...one time...costs us more for storage of your video files..
Skateboard.TV has been a long time dream to build. A partnership with Pierce Washington and Vividminds made the final product possible. We will strive for the best video delivery system while we grow our database of video clips, shows and movies.
